In the meantime, here are a few memories of our breezy walk on Minehead beach as part of a very relaxing Rest & Renew yoga day.

 

 

A few photos from the autumn Wellbeing Day – ‘Breathing Space’. After a morning exploring the breath and movement and some pranayama practices, we braved weather warnings of gale force winds and heavy rain to go up on the hill, and even found a spot of sunshine. Lots of breathing space!

 

‘Rest & Renew’ on the 18th November is an invitation to prepare body and mind for winter, with energising asana and deeply relaxing yoga nidra. In the afternoon we’ll go down to the beach for an invigorating walk. Email me for more information or to book.

 

In August I ran the very first Halsway Wellbeing Week – with sixteen enthusiastic participants enjoying a creative mix of yoga practice and walking in the stunningly beautiful landscape of West Somerset.

We were joined by artists and experts who helped us explore the area and see through their eyes, taking in the awe and wonder of the natural world. The yoga practices echoed this theme of journeying, from orienting and grounding ourselves, to finding our way through movement sequences and learning to let go to the flow. And because we were in the National Centre for Folk Arts, there was a bit of dancing thrown into the mix.
